What we collect

When you request the free scan. The scan form is hosted for us by Tally. What you type into it comes to us: your act or artist name, your email and a link to your music. If you reached the form from an ad or a campaign link, the form may also record standard campaign tags (such as utm_source) and an ad click identifier (fbclid), so we know where the request came from.

When you sign up for the Call Sheet. This form is hosted by Tally too. It takes your email and, if you give it, your first name. It may record the same campaign tags, so we know which button you used.

When you join the Act One waitlist. This form is hosted by Tally as well. It takes your name, email and act name, anything you add in the open question, and the same campaign tags.

When you take the Check. The Check on the For Artists page is worked out in your browser. Your answers are not stored or sent to us.

When you use the Toolkit. The free tools at /toolkit keep what you type in this browser's storage, on this device, so it is there when you come back. None of it is sent to Well Made Plays. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.

When you sign up to play Spin Therapy. The sign-up form on the Spin Therapy page is ours. It takes your name, DJ name, email and phone number, and what you play; if you add them, your usual BPM range, a link to a mix and how you heard about the night. It also asks whether it is your first time, whether you want to hear about getting booked, and whether we may email you about future nights. The answers go into an Airtable base we keep for the night. We use your phone number only to text you about that night's lineup and your slot, and your email only for what you ticked.

When you offer to play our events. The “Play our events” link on the Links page opens a Google Form. What you enter there is stored by Google Forms under Google's privacy terms, and we read it to book the night.

When you email us or book a call. We keep your email address and whatever you choose to share in the message or on the call.

What we don't collect here. We don't take payment details on this website. Payments run through Stripe, and calls are booked through cal.com; each handles your information under its own privacy terms.

Why we use it

Only to do what you asked: run your scan, answer you, book your call, send you the Call Sheet if you signed up for it, and carry out the work you hire us for. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside Well Made Plays without your permission.

Where it's stored

Scan requests and sign-ups arrive through Tally and are read over email. Spin Therapy sign-ups go straight into Airtable. Replies to the “Play our events” form stay in Google Forms. Call Sheet addresses may later move to a mailing-list service that sends each issue for us. If you become a client, the details we need to do your project may be moved into an Airtable workspace we build and keep for you. Tally, our email provider, and Airtable each store this information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep scan requests and correspondence only as long as they're useful for helping you, and we clear out what we no longer need. If you become a client, we keep your project materials for as long as we work together and a reasonable period after, then remove them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email dougie@wellmadeplays.com and we'll take care of it, usually within a few days. To leave the Call Sheet, reply “stop” to any issue.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't set marketing or advertising cookies of its own. The forms and any tools you click through to, such as Tally, Stripe, cal.com and Google Forms, follow their own cookie and privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The current version always lives here with the “last updated” date above, and any change applies from the day it's posted.
